Ah Balling's Peanut Soup has earned itself reputations throughout the year in attending food shows and competitions for it's unique Tang Yuans.
For those who do not know what Tang-Yuan is, they are glutinous rice balls comes either with filling or non-filling. As for this, they offer 5 different types of flavors, Peanut, Sesame, Red Bean, Green Tea and Yam. Serving in a bowl of boiled peanut soup, it blends perfectly well with the rice balls.
The texture for the Tang yuans in Ah Balling is smooth and also chewy when one sink one's teeth into.
Not to mention there was also quite a number of residents right at the moment when we were there eating Tang yuans too!
I highly recommend this for anyone to try these delicacies even if you have heard/taste it before.
Do head down if you do have the time!
